DAVID B. SAMADI ENDEAVOURS IN UROLOGY
David B. Samadi is a well-known doctor who chairs Urology department, deals with the study of the urinary system, and is the leader of robotic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. David is highly specialized in the treatment and diagnosis of bladder cancer, prostate cancer and kidney cancer. In addition to this, he is also specialized in advanced minimally fast-growing treatments for prostate cancer. These include laparoscopic robotic radical prostatectomy and laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. David B. Samadi was born and raised in Iran, but he left for Belgium at the age of 15 where he continued his education.Samadi, later on, came to the USA where completed his high school education in Roselyn, New York. He was fortunate to receive full sponsorship at Stony Brook University where he earned his degree in Biochemistry. He earned his M.D Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1994.

David also had a postgraduate training in both urology, at Montefiore Medical Centre, and proctology, at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In 2001, he had been able to complete a fellowship of oncology in proctology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and a radical prostatectomy fellowship at Henri Mondor Hospital Creteil in France.Since then, Dr Samadi has practised medicine and operated in more than 45 countries. He showed his dedication to his career by an extra mile and becoming the host of a medical TV show, “Sunday Housecall”, on Fox news channel from 2011 to 2015. After the TV show, he launched a website that helped share medical and health information with the world. He also started a radio program in the same year for a similar purpose.
Currently, DR. Samadi is working on developing his own technique of prostrate removal. He calls it the Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique, SMART.As he puts it, observes a lot of discipline in his day to day endeavours as he wakes up at 4:30 AM, and by 6 AM, he is at his office. He performs operations two to three times a week, and he always checks on all of his patients before leaving work. According Dr Samadi ideas put into drawing help him a lot. He uses his photographic memory to draw ideas and later on plans on how to implement the idea with the right team. He gives an example of one of his successful work where he built the most efficient operating room in America. Dr.Samadi regards himself as appositive thinker who is very result-driven. He treats all his working mates and staff as family and believes that this has highly contributed to his success.
