Doe Deere, also famously known as the Queen of Unicorns is sharing her love for makeups and passion for products in her tremendously successful cosmetic trademark, Lime Crime. The Queen of Unicorns makes everyone believe that people from all walks of lives have an opportunity to realize their dreams
Childhood and her Humble Beginning
The world renowned fashion star was born in Russia and also grew up there in a humble family. She later moved to the US when she was 17 so she would say that most of her formative years were all spent in Russia and New York City although she currently lives in Los Angeles.
Was She Always An Ambitious Soul?
She thinks that she has always been imaginative as well as ambitious in some sense. But she does think so because as a kid, everyone always dreams big. However, she thinks the much that she dreamt was probably to become a popular musician who is exactly what she tried when she first moved to New York.
Being a musician helped her learn things like career and marketing and taught her to appreciate when people show up at your events and such things. So that is how she started out, with big dreams of being an artist.
But How Did She End Up in Makeups?
But she has always been quite entrepreneurial. She had her first small business in Russia when she was only 13 years old. She used to sell temporary tattoos which were a novelty at the time, and it was a lot of fun. The trendy entrepreneur thinks what she did was discovering, popularizing and selling them to her classmates. But she just made them cool by having them on and insisting that it was trendy to have them.
How Long Did She Stay in New York City?
She lived there between 1998 and 2012. She lived there for quite a long time, so she thinks that she became an adult in that city because she lived there since she was 17. She lived for a while in Manhattan and then lived for nine cool years in Brooklyn hence that was her stomping ground. She was in a band, so that is what she associates New York with all the time. As you have seen, the lady has had quite an inspiring life. One may term that as moving from grass to grace.
